• Migrating to Unreal Engine 5
We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully migrated Ex World Online: Obsidian to Unreal Engine 5! This engine update brings significant improvements to our development process and allows us to leverage the latest technologies and tools to bring our game to life. Moving to UE5 means enhanced visuals, improved performance, and greater flexibility for our team to create the immersive world we envision.

• Custom Anime-Inspired Shaders
With the migration to UE5, we are no longer relying on a custom-made engine to achieve our desired cel-shading approach. Instead, our talented team is developing an in-house custom shader to give Ex World Online its own unique anime-inspired visuals. This will provide us with more control over the game's aesthetics and enable us to deliver a truly distinctive experience for our players.

• Reiatsu System and Item Updates
We're making significant progress on implementing the Reiatsu system, which allows players to harness their spiritual pressure for powerful abilities. Alongside this, we're constantly adding more items to enrich the overall game experience. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting features!

• Custom Control Panel Development
Our team is hard at work developing a custom control panel, which will replace SpatialOS and give us more direct control over various aspects of the game. This will enable us to monitor and improve server stability, as well as provide us with valuable analytical data to help us refine and optimize the game for our players
• Performance Enhancements and Combat Fixes
We've been working hard on optimizing various aspects of Ex World Online to ensure smoother gameplay for our players. Our recent performance enhancements include optimizing action execution, targeting, and canceling targeting actions. We've also streamlined data retrieval and improved server-side processing for better overall performance.
In addition to performance improvements, we've addressed several combat issues. We've fixed melee hit registration inconsistencies and resolved issues with projectiles causing multiple instances of damage. Furthermore, we've updated several functions for better server authority and validation, resulting in a more stable and enjoyable combat experience for our players.
These updates demonstrate our commitment to providing a seamless and engaging gaming experience in Ex World Online. Stay tuned for more updates and improvements in future development blogs!
• Concept Art and Cosmetic Updates
We're excited to share that concept art for future races is currently underway, with some truly unique and imaginative ideas in the pipeline. Additionally, our artists are working on new cosmetic costumes for players to enjoy. Be sure to follow our social media feeds for sneak peeks and updates on these captivating designs!

As always, we appreciate your support and enthusiasm for Ex World Online: Obsidian. Stay tuned for more updates and development news in the coming months!
